My Background
Bitten by wildlife photography bug very early in life I could take serious interest only from 1999 onwards. I have been lucky to be born in a town which is surrounded by forests and wildlife and this boosted by interest further. I have been doing wildlife photography for some time now especially in tiger reserves which earned me the name 'Tiger Navneet' amongst friends. I have received more than 200 awards, acceptance or certificate of merits for my photographs in national and international salons.
Photography as Communication
Photography is an art, it has power to inspire, to create awareness, a perfect tool to help us in conservation. Photographs have their own language, they can help us in changing heart of thousands, make them fall in love with wildlife, with nature, document a rare phenomenon or rare instance which we have not heard of thereby improving our knowledge of bio-diversity.
For me wildlife photography is the most potent medium for expression, inspiration and communication. I welcome you to enjoy some of my wildlife photographs and for once interested I can help in planning wildlife photography tour to India for photographing Tigers and other flora and fauna.
